This Mac version was developed and published by Feral Interactive. It is an Intel build and runs on a Mac mini M4 through Rosetta.
The Your Stage system builds rally routes on the fly. You pick a location, a time of day, and a length. The game generates the rest. No two stages repeat.
Career mode, rallycross, and landrush are all here. The handling splits between a more accessible handling model and a purist simulation. Switch anytime.
The 1.0.1+ fix listing is sparse — it says “fix” and leaves it at that. On our Intel Mac, it resolved an intermittent stutter when Your Stage stitched two complex tile sets together at high speed. Rallycross circuits with heavy weather effects also smoothed out. The patch didn’t add features; it removed small interruptions that pulled you out of a rhythm.
A stage from nothing
Open Freeplay. Tap location: Wales. Slide the length bar to the right, just past the midpoint. Set weather to overcast, time to late afternoon. The generator thinks for a beat, then drops you into a narrow gravel lane hemmed by stone walls.
The co-driver calls the first corner — a tight 4 left — and you’re already trail-braking into it. Pace notes are dense here. Listen, don’t watch the HUD. The stage tightens through a forest section where the light breaks in patches across the road. A crest arrives mid-corner; the car goes light, then bites again on the far side. By the finish, the odometer reads just over nine kilometers. The route never existed before you asked for it, and it won’t appear in that exact form again.
Little things
Most people miss the co-driver timing slider tucked in the audio menu. Slide it earlier by one notch and the calls arrive a fraction sooner — useful on tight Welsh or Spanish stages where a late note means a tree.
The quick repair shortcut in rallycross works between heats. Hold the designated key while the timer counts down and the crew swaps a punctured tire without opening a menu. In landrush events, short-shifting early out of the truck’s second gear keeps the rear from stepping out on loose dirt; the game never mentions it.
