Version 1.5.62 ships as a bundled release with no noted feature changes.
Rosetta only
It needs macOS 10.12 and an Intel processor. Apple Silicon is not supported natively.
Editing
You get a simple timeline for cuts, color, and audio adjustments. Built-in animated title templates and customizable motion graphics are included.
Sharing
Publish directly to YouTube or Facebook. Adobe Stock integration sits ready if you need extra assets.
Laptop timeline
Rush is the lighter sibling of Premiere Pro. Projects open quickly, the timeline fits a laptop screen, and the interface comes in 15 languages, Russian included. On an Apple silicon Mac it runs through Rosetta.
One clip, start to finish
Drag a clip in. The timeline stays uncluttered — four video tracks, three audio. Trim the head with a quick cut, then open color. A gentle bump in saturation and shadows pulls the frame forward.
Audio balancing comes next. Turn on auto-ducking, drop the music track. Voice dips under speech without drawing a single keyframe. Add a lower-third from the motion graphics templates. Edit the text, nudge its timing.
Hit Share. Choose YouTube, pick a thumbnail from the clip. Title it. Rush renders in the background. The whole thing took six minutes on an old Intel MacBook Air.
No subscription needed
Does it need a Creative Cloud subscription? The bundled release handles activation without one. No sign-in, no trial prompts.
Will it open Premiere Pro projects? No. Rush uses its own project format. You can send a Rush project to Premiere Pro, but not the reverse. Think of Rush as the start of a chain, not the end.
What about 4K? It handles 4K footage. Editing is smooth on Intel Macs with 8 GB of RAM, though a proxy workflow helps on older machines. Rendering to 4K is supported in the export panel.
How many exports per day? There is no cap in version 1.5.62. Queue up several, go make coffee.
Fits with
Rush sits between a phone and a desktop editor. Shoot on iPhone, open in Rush on Mac, refine color, publish. Files sync through iCloud if you keep the Rush folder there.
It pairs well with Adobe Stock. Search for a background track, license it, drop it in — all without leaving the timeline. Motion templates come from the same library as After Effects, though you cannot author new ones inside Rush.
For anyone grabbing an adobe premier pro mac torrent, Rush fills the gap when a full timeline feels heavy. It launches faster, exports faster, and leaves room for finishing work later in Resolve or Premiere Pro.
