If you’ve spent evenings with the physical board game spread across a table, this Mac version puts that same sprawling engine behind the screen. No setup. No lost cubes.

Shape a planet

You direct a corporation with one goal: raise the temperature, oxygen level, and ocean coverage until Mars is livable. Every card played nudges those global parameters forward.

Play alone

AI opponents with adjustable difficulty fill the seats when you want a fast game. You still get the full push-and-pull of resource competition without scheduling a group.

Connect online

Online and local network play bring the table to the screen when friends are scattered. The game remains the same slow-burn engine builder — no real-time pressure, no dexterity tests.

Right-click a card in your hand and you can mark it to play later. The queue stays visible across turns. Saves you from forgetting a combo you spotted three rounds ago.

You can also hold Shift while placing a tile to see the placement bonuses before you commit. Small thing. Changes how you read the board.

Solo strategists

This version clicks for two kinds of Mac users. First, the solo strategist. Someone who wants a deep system to settle into, no chat, no lobby. The AI is competent enough to punish sloppy play, and the game never rushes you.

Second, the remote board game group. If you already play tabletop games over voice calls, this simulates the table cleanly. The interface gets out of the way, and you can focus on the shared spreadsheet of a planet you’re building together.

It’s less suited to someone looking for spectacle. This is a board game rendered flat, faithful, and functional. That’s the point.

It rewards patience. If you want action, this isn’t it. If you enjoy watching a system tick forward under your influence, it fits.
