A game for people who grew up with the Turtles and now unwind with a run-based brawler. It layers randomized layouts and power-ups over a familiar beat-em-up core, letting four players drop into the fight as co-op stands get overrun.
- Splinter is gone, taken by Shredder. April and Metalhead piece together clues from recovered artifacts.
- Every run shuffles room layouts, boss modifiers, and power-ups. No two trips through the sewers play out the same way.
- Fights spill across New York rooftops and underground tunnels. The city is a narrow, dangerous playground.
- Cooperative play supports up to four players. Chaos scales with the headcount.
- Interface languages include Russian, English, German, Arabic, Spanish, Italian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Turkish, French, and Japanese.
- Requires macOS 11.0 or later. Runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
A wired controller feels right here. Wireless adds a hair of latency you notice when the randomized boss mods stack against you. Keep the machine online for initial setup, but pull the plug if loading screens freeze.
Little things
Holding dash right after a ground slam cancels the recovery frames. The tutorial never mentions it.
Each turtle has a distinct hurtbox. Donatello’s reach advantage is real — use it when the Foot Clan rushes in from both sides. Raphael’s shorter range forces tighter spacing, but his taunt builds meter faster than the others.
Pausing during a boss intro lets you read the randomized modifiers before the fight begins. The game never tells you this. It also never tells you that April’s artifact analysis skips a step if you visit Metalhead first on two consecutive runs.
Netcode steady
Version 1.14.0 tightened the co-op netcode. Four-player sessions hold steady now on a local network where earlier builds would hitch during rooftop portal events. The randomized boss mods also received a weighting pass — fewer impossible combos in early zones.
Loading times on Apple Silicon dropped noticeably. The tmnt splintered fate mac full version starts cold in under ten seconds on an M4 Mac mini. Intel Macs still pause a beat longer when generating sewer layouts.
Japanese and Korean interface text got a spacing fix. Menus no longer clip at the edges on ultrawide displays.
