This release keeps things steady. No new features, just the same reliable lower-thirds ready for your timeline.
Where do I place it in a session?
Drop these on any track above your primary footage. They sit cleanly over interviews, b-roll, or any clip that needs a name or context.
Stacking order
Yes. They stack like any other FCP title. Bus routing isn't a factor here, just layer order.
What job is it for?
Quick, readable identification. The pack covers modern glitch, retro movie screens, and simple clean plates, so one set works across different project styles.
Can it handle social cutdowns?
No installer needed
Do I need the full MotionVFX installer? No. Drop the templates into your Titles folder and FCP finds them on next launch. Nothing else runs in the background.
Will it slow down an older project? These are lightweight generators. The glitch and high-tech styles animate quickly, and you can always render a short section if your timeline gets heavy.
Does the pack require a specific FCP version? Any recent build that reads .moef files handles them without issue. If your Mac runs Final Cut Pro smoothly now, mLowers Universal won't change that.
Templates missing
Templates not appearing. The usual cause is folder depth. Make sure the files sit directly inside /Movies/Motion Templates/Titles. If you nest them one folder deeper, FCP skips them. Rename the enclosing folder to match the pack name, then relaunch.
Placeholder text stays on screen. Some styles ship with default strings. Select the clip, open the Text inspector, and replace the fields. If the inspector shows a blank panel, toggle the clip's visibility off and on to force a refresh.
Frame markers look off in vertical projects. The social markers are pre-set for common aspect ratios. When the preview still cuts off a handle or logo, switch the viewer to the exact output resolution. A small shift reveals the safe zone.
Built-in social media markers make it easy to frame for different platforms without rebuilding your titles.
